Erasmus+ is the EU programme for education, training, youth and sport. Many of the initiatives are based on opportunities for students and recent graduates, but funding is also available to help teachers, lecturers and non-academic staff develop their skills in partner universities, colleges and adult education environments around Europe – through job shadowing, teaching and training activities. The Jagiellonian University has exchange agreements with over 600 universities throughout and outside Europe which enables staff from partner institutions to visit JU and learn more about how we operate. As part of the Programme each year International Relations Office organizes Erasmus+ Staff Training Week - an event intended for officers at the central or departmental level dealing with international relations, promotion, marketing or other foreign affairs during which participants have the opportunity to exchange best practices and ideas in the field of internationalization.
