Previous doctoral programmes (third-cycle) have been replaced with the education of PhD students in doctoral schools. Schools are a new institutions established as a result of the reform of Higher Education introduced by the provisions of the new Law on Higher Education and Science (the so-called Law 2.0, Constitution for Science).

- Doctoral School in Social Sciences,
- Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences.
