I am considering participating in an exchange programme and coming to the JU.

There are numerous exchange opportunities for students already enrolled in another institution who would like to choose JU as their study abroad destination. Erasmus+ programme is very popular with our visiting students (we are, in fact, top destination for Erasmus+ students in Poland), but there may also be other options available, depending on the course and on your original institution. To learn more, please contact International Students Office.

I would like to know more about learning Polish while in Kraków.

You can take up a Polish language course here, at the Jagiellonian University, in our own School of Polish Language and Culture. There is a number of different options available: courses of various scope, length, or intensity.

How about other languages?

During your time at the JU, you may be obliged to take up a language course as it is a mandatory component of many degree programmes. Even if it isn’t required—or if you are simply interested in learning more languages than your programme offers—you can see the Jagiellonian Language Centre website for information about available languages and thematic courses.
